Find out what's holding your website back.
Enter your address below and get a free audit in about a minute — broadly the same checks I run before quoting a redesign. No signup, no sales call, and you get the result on screen whether or not you ever speak to me.
The audit runs on ReportMagnet, which I also build and run. Your address is sent there to be checked; nothing is published and you are not added to a mailing list.
Four things that decide whether you get found.
Every check is something a search engine or a visitor genuinely reacts to. Nothing in the report is a vanity number.
Technical
Whether search engines can reach and read the page at all: HTTPS, indexing, redirects, canonical tags, your sitemap and robots.txt. This is the part that, when it is wrong, quietly makes everything else pointless.
On-page
Titles, descriptions, headings, alt text, internal links and structured data — what actually appears in a search result, and whether the page explains itself to a machine as clearly as it does to a person.
Performance
How fast the page becomes useful on a phone on mobile data, using Google's own measurements. Slow sites lose visitors before they ever read a word, and speed is a ranking factor in its own right.
Trust & conversion
Whether a visitor who is ready to act can: a tappable phone number, a clear way to get in touch, a call to action near the top, and the local business details that map results are built from.
A score is a starting point, not a strategy.
An automated audit is very good at finding the specific, checkable things that are wrong — a missing tap-to-call link, an image ten times larger than it needs to be, a canonical tag pointing at a page that redirects. It is genuinely useful, and most of it you can fix yourself.
What it cannot tell you is whether the page says the right thing to the right person. No tool scores whether your homepage explains what you do in the first sentence, or whether the photographs look like your actual work. If the audit comes back green and the phone still is not ringing, that is usually the problem — and it is a conversation, not a checklist.
What to do with the result.
Fix the free ones
Tap-to-call links, page titles, alt text and business details are usually editable in whatever platform you are already on. Start there and re-run it.
Decide what is worth paying for
Speed and technical problems on a builder site are often capped by the platform itself. Worth knowing before you spend money trying to fix them.
Ask if you want a second opinion
Send me the score. I will tell you honestly whether it is worth a rebuild or whether you are better off leaving it alone — including when the answer costs me the job.
About the audit.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no signup, no card and no trial. You can run it, read the result and never contact me, and that is a perfectly good outcome.
Will this tell me why I am not ranking on Google?
Partly. It reliably finds technical and on-page problems that hold a site back, and those are worth fixing. It cannot see your competitors, your reviews or how many other businesses are chasing the same search, which are often the bigger factors for a local business.
What happens to the address I enter?
It is sent to ReportMagnet, the audit service I run, so the page can be fetched and checked. It is not published anywhere and you are not added to any mailing list. See the privacy policy for the detail.
My site scored badly. Do I need a whole new website?
Often not. Plenty of low scores come down to a handful of fixable things on a site that is otherwise fine. A rebuild is worth it when the platform itself is the limit, or when the site no longer matches what the business does.
Does a perfect score mean I will rank first?
No, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. A clean audit means nothing technical is holding you back — it removes the excuses rather than guaranteeing the position.
Want someone to read the result with you?
Send me your score and your address. I will reply within 24 hours with what I would fix first and what I would leave alone — free, and with no obligation to hire me.
