Cricut designs

Custom Cricut designs, drawn to cut clean.

SVG cut files for vinyl decals, shirts, signs, stickers and tumblers, drawn from your idea and checked as a vector before they go out. Fixed prices from $10, a proof first, and you pay only once you have approved it. Made in Brainerd, Minnesota, sent anywhere by email.

What you get

A file your machine can follow, not a picture

A lot of "SVG" files online are traced photos with hundreds of tiny wobbles in them. Those cut badly and weed worse. I draw yours as clean vector paths, so the blade follows a shape rather than a mess.

  • Drawn fresh as a vector from your sketch, photo or description
  • Closed paths, no stray points, text turned to outlines, layers grouped by colour
  • Sized to the material you tell me, and it scales to any size after that
  • Delivered as SVG, PNG and DXF by email, usually within a day or two
  • A proof to approve first, with two rounds of changes included
  • Yours to use and sell what you make with it

I am a designer and developer, not a vinyl shop. What I sell here is the design file. You do the cutting, on a Cricut, a Silhouette or any machine that reads SVG or DXF, and I make sure the file is one that cuts well the first time. If it does not, I fix the file.

Prices

Four prices, written down before you send anything

Every cut file is a fixed price. You know the number before you send the idea, and it does not move afterwards.

Name or word decal
$10 once

One name, word or short phrase in a font you pick or I suggest. Car windows, water bottles, mailboxes, a kid's door. Spaced and joined so it weeds in one piece.

One-colour design
$20 once

A custom design in one colour. A shirt graphic, a shop sign, a sticker, a mascot for the team. Drawn from your idea, not pulled from a library.

Layered design
$40 once

Up to four colours, each on its own layer, cut separately and stacked. The layers are drawn to line up, with a small overlap where they meet so gaps do not show.

Your existing logo, made cut-ready
$25 once

Different from the $5 PNG to SVG on the services page. That one is a straight trace, fine for a screen. Cut-ready means I clean and simplify the paths by hand, thicken the thin bits, close the gaps and split the colours, so it actually cuts and weeds well. That is the extra work, and why it costs more.

How paying works. Send the idea. I reply with a price and, once you say go, a proof. When you approve the proof I send a card link or bank details, and the files go out the moment it is paid. Nothing is charged before you have seen the design.

What these are for

Things people cut with them

If you can cut it on a Cricut, I can draw the file for it.

Vinyl decals

Truck doors, trailers, shop windows, coolers, tumblers. A business name and phone number done as a decal is the cheapest sign you will ever buy, and it needs a clean file more than anything else does.

Shirts and heat transfer

Team shirts, work shirts, a family reunion, a fundraiser. I draw the design mirrored if you ask, sized to the chest or the back, with the fine detail thick enough to survive weeding on heat transfer vinyl.

Signs and stickers

Wood signs, wedding signs, print-then-cut stickers, labels for a farm stand or a booth at the fair. For print-then-cut I include the offset cut line so the sticker has a clean border.

Running a small business as well? The same design can carry across your sign, your truck, your shirts and your website. I do logos and brand kits for $150, and the cut file version of your logo is included in that.

Questions

The things people ask before ordering

What file types do I get?

Every order comes as an SVG, a PNG and a DXF, sent by email. The SVG is the one you will use most. The PNG is there so you can see it on a phone without opening anything. The DXF is for older software and other cutting machines. If you need a different format, say so and I will add it at no charge.

Will it work in Cricut Design Space?

Yes. I build the SVG the way Design Space expects: plain closed paths, no strokes doing the work of a shape, no text left as live text, and layers grouped by colour. Upload it, pick Cut, and it is ready to size. If it does not load cleanly, send me a screenshot and I fix the file rather than sending you instructions.

Can I sell what I make with it?

Yes. Once you have paid, you can use the file on anything and sell what you make with it, in your shop, on Etsy, at a craft fair, wherever. The only thing I keep is the right to show the design in my own portfolio. I do not resell your custom design to anyone else.

How big can I cut it?

As big as your machine and material allow. A vector file has no fixed size, so the same design cuts clean at two inches on a mug or two feet on a sign. I size the file to the material you tell me, so it opens at the right dimensions, and you can scale it from there without it going blurry or jagged.

How fast is it?

Usually a proof within a day or two of you sending the idea, and the finished files the same day you approve the proof. A four-colour layered design can take a day longer. If you have a deadline, put it in the message and I will tell you straight away whether I can hit it.

What if I only have a photo of the idea?

That is fine, and it is how most of these start. Send a photo, a sketch on paper, a screenshot of something similar, or just describe it in a sentence. I draw it fresh as a vector so the paths are clean, then send you a proof to check before anything is final. Two rounds of changes are included.

Order a file

Send me the idea

A photo, a sketch, a screenshot or a sentence. I reply within 24 hours with the price and, if you want to go ahead, a proof.

One line is plenty. Shirt, decal, sign, sticker.
A Pinterest pin, a photo, anything. Leave it blank if the idea is in your head.

No card yet. You see the proof first, then pay.

What happens next

  • I read it and reply within 24 hours with a fixed price
  • You say go, and I send a proof to check
  • Two rounds of changes if you want them
  • You approve, pay, and the files land in your inbox

Rather call or text?

Faster than the form if you would sooner just say it out loud, or send a photo of the idea.

Photos beat words

If you can text me a picture of the idea, or of the thing it is going on, the proof comes back closer the first time. Send it to the number above and mention the file.

From $10, and you see it before you pay.

Send the idea. Worst case you get a proof back, decide it is not for you, and owe nothing.
