Getting a website too? The graphics for it are included in any website build, which is $100 to $600 fixed. If you have the brand kit done first, the site is built from it, and you do not pay for the design twice.
Graphic design in Brainerd, at a price a new business can pay.
Logo design, brand kits, style guides, social posts and cut files, from a local designer and developer in Brainerd, Minnesota. Every job is one fixed price, written down before I start, and you own the files at the end.

Small businesses that need to look real, without agency prices
A plumber starting out. A salon that has outgrown the logo a cousin made. A farm stand, a lake resort, a food truck. You need a logo people remember, colours that match across your sign, your truck and your Facebook page, and someone local who answers the phone.
- A fixed price for every job, agreed in writing first, from $5 to $150
- You own the files: SVG, PNG, colours, fonts, all of it, no lock-in
- Local to Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes and Crosslake, and I answer texts myself
- Two rounds of changes on every design, and a straight answer if something will not work
- Affordable because I built my own tools, not because the work is rushed
What graphic design costs here
Every one of these is a fixed price. No hourly rate, no estimate that grows. Pick one on its own or add it to a website build.
The whole kit, not just a mark.
- Logo as SVG and PNG, colour, black, white and a small version
- Your colours and fonts, written down as codes you can hand to anyone
- A one-page style guide so the next thing made for you matches
- Favicon and social avatars, sized for the website, Facebook and Google
- Two rounds of revisions included
You have a logo and a look already, but nothing written down, so every new flyer or post drifts. I read your existing site or Facebook page and write the design system that goes with it: colours, fonts, spacing, how the logo sits. Any builder, or I, can work from it.
One post a week. $40 a month for two a week.
- A caption and an image per post, your photo or one I make
- Posted anywhere: Facebook, Instagram, your Google Business Profile
- Month to month, stop whenever
- Not included: video, ad management, replying to comments
A short animated version of your logo for the top of your site, your socials or the start of a video. A couple of revisions included.
Your logo redrawn as a vector file, so it stays sharp at any size, from a business card to a sign, and never goes blurry again.
Custom SVG cut files for decals, shirts, signs and stickers, drawn to cut clean. Prices and how it works.
Design that is tied to what you are trying to get
A logo is not the goal. More calls, more bookings, or looking established enough that people trust you with the job: that is the goal. Every design decision I make starts from which of those you are after.
I built my own design tools
I wrote the logo and brand-kit program I use, and the tool that turns an existing site into a written style guide. That is a big part of why the prices are what they are. The time goes into your design, not into fighting software.
Every site I build has a design system
I am a developer as well as a designer, so the brand kit is built to be used, not framed. The colours become the code. The spacing becomes the layout. My own site runs on one, and you can read it.
I say when it is the wrong spend
If your logo is fine and what you need is a Google Business Profile with photos, I will say that, because it is free and I would rather you came back later. Strategy first, then design, then only the code you need.
Local matters here in a plain way. I know which lake the resort is on, what a Baxter strip sign looks like from the road, and who your customers are, because they are my neighbours. A designer three states away has to be told all of that, and it shows in the work.
The things people ask before starting
How much does a logo cost in Brainerd?
From me, $150, and that gets you the whole brand kit, not just the logo: the mark as SVG and PNG, your colours, your fonts, a one-page style guide, a favicon for the website and avatars sized for Facebook and Google. The price is fixed and in writing before I start. A logo on its own from an agency in the Twin Cities usually starts around $1,000, and a $30 logo from a contest site is usually a stock shape with your name typed under it.
Do you only do design for businesses that get a website from you?
No. Most of this page is for people who do not need a website right now, or already have one. A logo, a style guide, a month of social posts or a Cricut file are all things you can buy on their own. If you do get a website later, the design work is already done and you do not pay for it twice.
What do I actually get with the brand kit?
A folder you own. The logo in SVG and PNG, in colour, black and white, and a version that works small. Your colours as hex codes. Your fonts, with where to get them. A one-page style guide that says how to use it all. A favicon and social avatars. And the cut-ready SVG, if you ever want it on a shirt or a truck door. Two rounds of revisions are included.
I already have a logo. Can you work with it?
Yes, and that is usually the cheaper route. For $50 I read what you already have, your site, your Facebook page, your sign, and write the design system that goes with it, so the next thing anyone makes for you matches. For $5 I redraw a blurry logo as a vector so it stays sharp on a sign or a shirt.
Where are you, and do you meet in person?
I am in Brainerd. Most of the work runs over text, email and a short video call, because that is faster for both of us, but if you are in the lakes area and would rather sit down over coffee, say so and we will.
How fast is it?
A style guide or a PNG to SVG, a day or two. A brand kit, about a week from the first chat to the final files, including your two rounds of changes. Social posts start the week after we agree what they should say. I reply to every message within 24 hours, and if I am full I say so instead of taking the job and going quiet.
Tell me what you need made
A logo, a style guide, a month of posts, or you are not sure which. I reply within 24 hours with a fixed price, or with a better idea if there is one.
What happens next
- I read it and reply within 24 hours with a fixed price in writing
- You send me what you have: a logo, photos, a sign, or nothing
- I design it and send a proof, with two rounds of changes
- You approve, pay, and get a folder of files you own
Rather call or text?
Faster than the form if you would sooner just say it out loud, or send a photo of the idea.
Not sure what you need?
Send me your Facebook page or a photo of your sign and tell me what you want more of. I will tell you the cheapest thing that gets you there, even when it is not on this page.
Local, affordable, and you own the files.
Tell me the name of the business and what you want it to look like. I reply within a day with a fixed price.
