The service area is huge. Brainerd to Crosslake to Aitkin is not a metro drive. A truck sent to a job that turns out to be something else costs the best part of a morning, which makes asking the right questions by text before you leave worth considerably more than it would be in a city.

Is my lakes-area business big enough for automation?

Often not yet, and I will tell you. A build has to pay itself back, and at the volume a lot of businesses up here run, a notebook and a calendar reminder genuinely do the same job for nothing. I say this more in this area than anywhere else I work. When the answer is no, the useful next steps are usually a proper website, a Google Business Profile, or the free homepage offer, and none of those cost you $1,995.

Can we meet in person?

Yes, and that is the main practical advantage of hiring someone who actually lives here. Coffee in Brainerd or Baxter is easy, and most of the lakes area is a short enough drive that it is not an event. It costs nothing and there is no obligation attached to it.

What is different about working for cabin owners?

They are not there. They cannot see the problem, cannot meet you on site, and will not be present when you work, so everything runs on photos, written updates and remote approval. Most contractor automation is built for a customer standing in their own kitchen. Up here the useful builds are the ones that keep an absent owner informed and able to say yes from two hundred miles away.

Our season is three months. Does that change things?
