Estimate follow-up · part of a custom build

Most estimates die of silence, not of price.

Estimate follow-up software for contractors

You wrote the quote at 9pm, sent it, and heard nothing. You meant to chase it. There were six more to write. This chases every quote on a schedule you set, and shows you which ones went quiet.

  • One module, $950
  • Fixed price, in writing
  • Yours, including the code
Why this one

You already did the hard part.

Writing an estimate is the costly bit: the site visit, the measuring, the pricing, the evening at the kitchen table. Then most of them are sent once and never mentioned again.

Ask a contractor why they didn't chase a quote and the answer is never “I decided not to.” It's that Thursday happened. The quote went out, the week filled up, and by the time it crossed their mind again it felt too late to bring up.

Meanwhile the homeowner isn't sitting there rejecting you. They're getting two more quotes, waiting for a partner to look at it, or waiting for payday. A lot of the people who go quiet aren't gone — they're just not ready yet, and whoever checks back in politely is the one who gets the job when they are.

This is the cheapest revenue on the whole site. The work is already done. The only thing missing is the reminder that you're still available.

How it works

A schedule that runs whether or not you remember.

  1. The quote goes out as usual

From whatever you already use: your quoting app, a PDF, an email, a photo of a written estimate. Nothing about how you price changes.

  2. Two days later, a check-in

Short and human. Did that make sense, any questions, happy to walk through it. Not a chase — an offer to help.

  3. A week later, a nudge

Still available, still the same number, here's when I could start. This is the one that wins most of the jobs, and it's the one nobody sends.

  4. Then it stops and tells you

No endless sequence. After the last message the quote moves to a quiet list with the date on it, so you can decide whether it's worth a phone call from an actual person.

  5. You see the whole board

Sent, opened, replied, gone quiet, won, lost. Which is also the first honest answer most contractors get to “what's my close rate.”

What it doesn't do. It doesn't change your price, negotiate, or send anything you haven't read. If a job needs a conversation, the job needs a conversation — this just makes sure you know which ones.

What it costs

$950 as one module.

On its own, built properly, working by itself. If you want it alongside one or two of the others that's $1,950, and the whole connected Back Office is from $2,995. Start wherever the pain is and add later, or don't.

Half up front to book, half on launch, agreed in writing before anything starts. You own the code and the data whichever step you stop at.

Not sure this is the one to build first?

That's what the audit is for. Send me what you pay for every month and I'll write back with what's worth replacing and which single thing I'd build first, with a fixed number on it.
