Every number, on one page.

Website and custom software pricing

You should not have to sit through a call to find out what something costs. Every project is one fixed price agreed in writing before I start, and it does not move afterwards.

Start here

Which of these is you?

  • I need a website. Website prices — from $1,495, or $699 if you are just opening.
  • I want to stop paying for software. Software prices — from $950 for one thing.
  • I am not ready to spend anything. The two free ones — a homepage and an audit, both genuinely $0.

Everything below is a one-off price except the last section, which is monthly and optional. Nothing here renews on its own.

Free

Two ways to find out if this is worth it.

Both are actually free. No card, nothing to cancel, and no call you have to sit through first.

Free homepage

$0

A real homepage for your business on a real link, yours to keep whatever you decide next. 5 businesses at a time.

How that works →

Subscription audit

$0

A written list of what you pay for and what it does, plus the one thing I'd build first and what it costs. Sometimes the answer is that your software is fine and you should keep it.

What you get back →

Websites · paid once

Three ways to get a website.

One fixed price each, agreed in writing before anything starts. Half up front to book, half on launch, and 30 days of free tweaks after launch.

You accept the quote, pay online and watch the build in your client panel.

Opening a business

$699

A one-page website, business card design, and a logo if you need one, plus 3 months of Site Care free. Only for businesses under a year old, or not trading yet.

What's in it →

Landing page

from $1,195

One page that does one job. 1 year of hosting included, and no monthly plan required.

What's included →

Custom website

from $1,495

The full thing, designed and built around your business. As many pages as the job needs, and you own the code.

What's included →

Not sure between the last two? A landing page is right when you have one thing to sell and one action you want. A custom site is right when people need to read, compare or browse before they decide.

Custom software · paid once

Start with one thing. Add when it's worth it.

One ladder, not a set of packages. Each step is a decision you make once the one before it has proved itself, and plenty of businesses stop at the first step and should.

One module

$950

The single worst part of your week. A lead inbox, or quoting, or booking — one thing, built properly, working on its own.

Two or three modules

$1,950

The pieces that only make sense together. Enquiries feeding jobs, or quotes feeding follow-up.

Back Office

from $2,995

Everything connected: leads, customers, jobs, booking, review requests and a dashboard over the top.

Larger than that

Quoted in writing

Priced before anything starts, the same as every other number here. No hourly surprises.

Year one is in the price.

The price includes the first year of it running: hosting, database, backups and keeping it working. No monthly fee in year one.

After that it's $79/month to keep it running, cancellable any month. Nothing renews on its own.

You own the code and the data at every step. How a build works →

Monthly · all optional

You never have to take one of these.

Everything above is paid once and yours. These exist only if you would rather somebody else kept it running. No contract, cancel any month, no fee, and the build keeps working either way. You can start or cancel either one yourself, in your client panel.

Site Care

$49/month

The website, and only the website. Hosting, domain and SSL, backups, monitoring, updates, and up to 3 hours of changes a month.

What Site Care covers →

Partner Plan

$300/month

Everything — website, software, and me as your developer. Up to 3 hours of changes a month, 1 social post a week, and a monthly note.

What it covers →

Founding-client pricing

SwansonX is taking a limited number of early clients at introductory pricing while I build out the portfolio. You get the same custom development and the same ownership — at prices that won't stay this low forever.

No countdown, and no number of spots left, because both would be made up. When the prices go up they go up for new clients only — anyone already working with me keeps what they agreed.

The small print, said out loud

What isn't in the number.

  • Your domain, about $15 a year, paid by you and registered to you.
  • Third-party running costs, billed at cost, shown to you.
  • Extra work is quoted before I start.

Registered non-profits pay half on builds. Ask and I'll confirm it in writing.

Not sure which line you're on?

Send me what you're paying for monthly and I'll tell you honestly what's worth replacing.
