Built for how you already work, and yours outright.
Custom software development for small business
Instead of renting five tools that almost fit, one that fits, built once. You get the code.
The first build is deliberately small. One module, from $950, so you find out what it's like to work with me before you commit to anything large. If it earns its keep, we do the next thing. If it doesn't, you've spent the price of a year of one subscription and you still own it.

Examples, not a menu.
Yours will be some combination of these, shaped around what you actually do.
Lead and enquiry tracking
Every enquiry in one place, with what happened to it, instead of three inboxes and a notebook.
Quoting and estimates
Built from your real prices, so a quote takes minutes and looks the same every time.
Scheduling and booking
The week in one place, readable by whoever needs it, without a per-seat fee.
Customer and job records
Yours, exportable, not locked inside somebody else's CRM.
Booking and scheduling
An online booking system that matches how you actually take work, without a per-seat fee.
Online stores and payments
Ecommerce built on Stripe. I've shipped it three times for my own products — subscriptions, one-off sales, gated downloads.
Internal dashboards
What came in this week, without you adding it up on a Sunday.
Whatever you do by hand
The repetitive thing you've stopped noticing because you've always done it that way.
Not sure which of these is yours? Ten jobs worth handing to software goes through them one at a time, including three that people ask for and shouldn't have. For the wider version of the question, there's what AI is actually good for in a small business.
Small enough that the arithmetic works early.
A build is paid once. Subscriptions are paid forever. The first step is priced so that overtaking one tool doesn't take years — which is the whole reason to start with one module rather than the lot.
Example
These numbers are made up to show the shape of the calculation. They are not a client, a promise, or an average, and yours will be different.
- A business pays $80/month for the tool it uses to chase enquiries.
- One module replacing it costs $950.
- That's level at roughly a year, and after that the $80 stops.
- Put it on the $300/month plan and it doesn't level on cost alone — then it has to be worth it for fit and ownership too, which is a different decision and worth making deliberately.
That last line is the one most people selling this leave out. Do the sum with your own numbers before you decide. The free audit does exactly that and writes it down.
When it doesn't
- You pay $30 a month for one tool that works fine. Keep it.
- You need accounting, payroll or card processing. Use the real thing — I'll build alongside it, not replace it.
- You want it built once and never touched by anyone again. That's fine, but understand there's no vendor support desk behind it afterwards.
- You can't yet say which part of the week is the worst part. Run it by hand a while longer; software built around a guess is worse than a spreadsheet.
Plain about the stack.
Hosted on Vercel, with your data in Convex. You can export it in full, whenever you want, without asking me. You get the source code on every job.
Built in phases, biggest pain first, so something useful is working before the whole thing is finished.
Who holds what
- Your domain, registered to you
- Your Stripe account, your bank details — I never touch your customers' money
- Your Google Business Profile, you're the owner
- Your source code, available any time you ask
- Your data, exportable, and I help you move it if you leave
Your Convex project and Vercel hosting sit in my accounts while you're on a monthly plan, and move to you on request or when you cancel. Every client gets a separate project. I never hold a password of yours.
Start with one thing. Add when it's worth it.
Not packages, and not an upgrade path I'm going to push you along. Each step is a decision you make once the one before it has proved itself, and plenty of businesses stop at the first.
One module
$950
The single worst part of your week. A lead inbox, or quoting, or booking — one thing, built properly, working on its own.
Two or three modules
$1,950
The pieces that only make sense together. Enquiries feeding jobs, or quotes feeding follow-up.
Back Office
from $2,995
Everything connected: leads, customers, jobs, booking, review requests and a dashboard over the top.
Larger than that
Quoted in writing
Priced before anything starts, the same as every other number here. No hourly surprises.
Year one is in the price.
The price includes the first year of it running: hosting, database, backups and keeping it working. No monthly fee in year one.
After that it's $79/month to keep it running, cancellable any month. Nothing renews on its own.
Whichever step you're on, the number is agreed in writing before anything starts and it doesn't move afterwards. half up front to book, half on launch.
