Solène Estate
Six pages for an invented family winery in Alexander Valley, built with no framework at all. Every page reads with JavaScript switched off.
Concept build. Nobody commissioned this. I built it to show what the work looks like for this kind of business, and everything in it — the name, the prices, the photographs — is made up for that purpose.

What it is
The collection, the estate, visiting hours, a journal and a booking enquiry.
A winery is a good test because the whole category leans on photos and mood, and it is easy to hide a thin site behind both.
The rules I set
No framework. No CSS library. No animation library. Vite for the build and nothing else, with the markup written by hand.
Every page reads with JavaScript switched off. For a site whose job is opening hours and a booking form, that is not a stunt. It is the right starting point.
The bottles are drawn as SVG rather than photographed. That keeps the whole collection page lighter than a single product photo, and it stays sharp at any size.
Where it landed
Zero accessibility issues across all seven pages. Checked, not assumed.
The source is public, so anyone can go and verify that. It is the only kind of claim worth putting on a portfolio.
